We can energize Rudraksha by following some basic steps. Rudraksha mala is energized before sending it to the customer. We employ holy people for the puja of Rudraksha mala before dispatch. The texts written are for information purpose only. Wearer can follow his own ways of energizing the mala. There are no strings attached to the rules. Energizing is a way of putting our good thoughts into the mala which ultimately gives better results to the end wearer.

How to Energize Rudraksha / mala
1. Choose an auspicious day and time for blessings.
2. Blessings may be done by the wearer, his Guru or a priest.
3. After bath, with a pure mind and body arrange the items for blessings.
o Punchgavya – Mix of Cow’s dung, urine, milk, ghee and curd. In absence use Punchamrit which is mix of un boiled milk, honey, sugar, ghee and curd.
o Water mixed with Ganges water in an achamani pot with Kusha grass for sprinkling and a spoon.

o 9 leaves of peepal tree arranged on a plate.
o Plate for offerings to be placed during Puja.
o Dhoop , Incense sticks
o Camphor and lamp
o Sandal paste, Aromatic oil.
o Rice grains mixed with asthagandha.
o Ghee lamp (one wick)
o Offerings - Cloth, Flower, Fruit, Betel nut - Paan , Coconut
4. Sit on an Asan facing east
5. Wash Rudraksha with Punchgavya or Punchamrit
6. Then wash with water mixed with Ganges water
7. Place Rudraksha in a plate with 9 leaves of Peepal tree
8. Place an empty plate in front of this plate for offerings
9. Chant 3 times 
o “Om Namah Shivaya “
10. Sprinkle water over yourself and all items of Puja
o Om Apavitrah Pavitro Va Sarva Vastan Gatopi Va
o Yah Smaret Pundari Kaksham Sa Bahya Bhyantarah Shuchih
11. Chant mantra
o Om Gurubhyo Namaha
o Om Ganeshaya Namaha
o Om Kula Devatabhyo Namaha

12. Place water on right hand with spoon of Achamani and sip after each of these 3 mantras

13. Place water on right hand and pour on ground

14. Do three short rounds of pranayama breaths.

15. Sprinkle water on Rudraksha with Kusha grass from Achamani

16. Take a flower and dip in Sandal paste and aromatic oils and touch on the beads

o Kaalay Namah
o Kala Vikarannaay Namah
o Bal Vikaranaay Namah
o Balaay Namah Bala Pramathanaay Namah

17. Offer Dhoop to the Rudraksha beads
o “Om Aghorebhyo Ghorebhyo Ghor Ghor Tarebhayaha Sarvebhya Sarva Sharvvebhyo Namaste Astu Rudra Roopebhyaha”
18. Take a flower and dip in Sandal paste and touch on beads
o “Om Tatpurushaaya Vidmahe Mahadevaay Dheemahi Tanno Rudraha Prachodayaat”
19. Chant Eeeshan mantra
o Om Eeshaanah Sarvavidyaanam Eeshwar Sarvabhootaanaam
o Brahmaadipati Brahmanaadhipati Brahma Shivome Astu Sadaa Shivom
20. Chant Pranpratishtha mantra (Life giving mantra).
21. Offer rice to plate before Rudraksha while chanting this.

24. Chant Gayatri mantra 3 times

25. Chant Surya mantra 3 times
